Festival Analog Eco van de Grafische Werkplaats staat in het teken van duurzaamheid. Het festival sluit aan bij de mondiale noodzaak om het gebruik van duurzame materialen te onderzoeken en in te bedden in de dagelijkse praktijk.
Welke kansen bieden schoon werken met duurzame inkten en materialen? Hoe kan je als maker bijvoorbeeld gebruik maken van plantaardig materiaal, bacteriën of restafval voor grafische toepassingen?
In Festival Analog Eco onderzoeken we hoe innovaties op het gebied van inkten, textiel en andere dragers een nieuwe beeldtaal kunnen bieden aan kunstenaars en designers. Het festival met een accent op textiel/fashion bevat een symposium, een expositie, workshops, talks en tours. Tijdens deze activiteiten wordt met aandacht en nieuwsgierigheid kennis gedeeld en ontstaat er veel ruimte voor nieuwe inventies en uitwisselingen.
Symposium
Analog Eco trapt af met een symposium. In korte presentaties vertellen kenners en makers over hun visie op duurzaamheid en textiel/fashion, zoals: Simone de Waart van ‘Material Sence’, kenner en specialist op het gebied van materialen; Kim Poldner, lector ‘Circular Business’ Haagse Hogeschool, Universiteit van Wageningen; Nanette Hogervorst, initiatiefnemer van platform ‘Our World’ en van ‘Sustainable Fashion Gift Card’, kenner van duurzame kleding.
Expositie
De expositie Analog Eco vormt het hart van het festival en vindt plaats in de Grafische Werkplaats met nieuw werk van: Dewi Bekker, Yamuna Forzani, Laura Luchtman, Christa van der Meer, Annika Syrjämäki en Tiemen Visser.
Festival Analog Eco wordt mede mogelijk gemaakt door Cultuurfonds Prins Bernhard Zuid-Holland, Fonds1818, Gemeente Den Haag, Gravin van Bylandt Stichting, Pure Energie Fonds, Stichting Stokroos en STROOM.

Festival Analog Eco of the Grafische Werkplaats is all about sustainability. This festival is in line with the global necessity to research the use of sustainable materials and embed them in daily practice.
What kind of opportunities arise when you work with sustainable inks and materials? How can you, as a maker of graphics and design, incorporate vegetable material, bacteria or residual waste?
At Festival Analog Eco we investigate how innovations in the field of inks, textiles and other carriers can offer a new visual language for artists and designers.
Symposium
Analog Eco kicks off with a symposium. In short presentations, experts and makers talk about their vision on sustainability. The emphasis in this symposium is on textile / fashion with speakers, such as: Simone de Waart of “Material Sence”, expert and specialist in the field of materials; Kim Poldner, lector of ‘Circular Business’ The Hague University of Applied Sciences, University of Wageningen; Nanette Hogervorst, initiator of “Our World” platform and “Sustainable Fashion Gift Card”, expert in sustainable clothing.
Exhibition
The Analog Eco exhibition in the Grafische Werkplaats is the heart of the festival and presents works by: Dewi Bekker, Yamuna Forzani, Laura Luchtman, Christa van der Meer, Annika Syrjämäki and Tiemen Visser.
