Normally, the textile designer Eugene van Veldhoven, The Hague designs fabrics and wallpaper for the industry, but this time he designed the Vriendenprent for the Grafische Werkplaats and printed it on the risograph. A technique he had never worked with before. The floral motif is based on photos of peony tulips that he made himself.

Van Veldhoven is known for his work with many different traditional and industrial techniques, including 3D printing of elastic structures for some time now. He founded Maison du Flock with workshop manager Annika Syrjämäki last year; a studio that prints fabrics and clothing for Haute Couture.
