Description

Online talk with designer Greta Faccchinato and Gerda van Uffelen, retired, former head of collection management of the Hortus Botanicus in Leiden. TThey talk to each other about natural inks and the exhibition Greta currently has in the Werkplaats. Afterwards you can ask questions to both of them.

About the expo:

Color is alive is a research into natural inks for screen printing. ‘Color is Alive” invites to look into colors as a series of living bodies, not meant to be here forever. It challenges the idea of art conservation and the conception of artwork as an eternal one.

Started in May 2021, this research was made possible by the Makersregeling Subsidie from Gemeente Den Haag in collaboration with the Grafische Werkplaats.

The exhibition can be viewed until January 30, 2022 on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. (Christmas holidays closed) and by appointment.
