Description

A workshop on infinity in the year of Escher!

In this workshop you will design and gouge a pattern in linoleum and of course you will print it in several times, so that a pattern is created.

All designs are photographed immediately after the workshop. Artist Jason Terlouw translates all results into an autonomous animation. This work is projected during the dark days of autumn on one of the large windows on the Prinsegracht, so that the work can be seen from the street side. In addition, the animation can be seen on the website, among other things.

This workshop will be given several times in the fall of 2023 and is part of the Perpetuum Mobile project. This project was made possible thanks to additional funds from the municipality of The Hague.

Main information about the workshops.

  • The workshops are given in small groups.
  • The workshops will only take place if there is sufficient interest and after payment for the workshop or course.
  • We do not give refunds if you are unable to participate in a workshop or course.
  • Unless otherwise stated, the course prices include the basic materials for printing the lesson assignments. You can purchase additional materials for a fee or bring your own. The use of own materials is not reimbursed. Coffee and tea are offered free of charge during the workshops.
  • On presentation of an Ooievaarspas 50% discount up to a maximum discount of € 330,- including VAT per participant per year. If you have an Ooievaarspas, you cannot register online for a workshop. Send an email to info@graphicwerkplaats.nl.
  • KABK students receive a 50% discount on participation costs.
