3 days workshop by Daniel Henry
Its a pleasure to invite designer Daniel Henry (Belgium) to give a masterclass in our Werkplaats!
How to change the hand and the look of a textile with finishings and embellishments printing with polymers and glues (water based pastes only). Playing with the mesh of the screen, from flat to micro 3D printing, customizing the paste to create unique textures.
About Daniel Henry
The Daniel Henry Studio was founded in July 2000 and is a research and development laboratory and a textile producing workshop. It is well known for its innovation, mastery of a cross-section of techniques and its work in transforming materials.
During a long time Daniel Henry Studio works internationally, with a wide range of applications (textile industry, prêt-à-porter, haute-couture, decoration, wall coverings, costumes, graphic arts). The studio has acquired a high level of expertise in the design and production of unique and original projects.
Prerequisites: willingness to experiment, discover and explore, curious, open-minded. The participants MUST have the basic knowledge of screenprinting and can be novice in coatings The goal of the workshop is to sample / no finished product will be created.
