Description

Inspired by patterns from Art Nouveau, you will design and print your own pattern using the risograph machine.
The risograph machine is a stencil duplicator. It prints one colour at a time, in bright and semi-transparent colours, based on a stencil.
Where the colours overlap, a mixed colour is created.
You will learn how to build a repeating pattern; you can choose to work with collages, or drawing/painting
You will go home with your own printed wallpaper on paper of about 10 A3 sheets, printed in two colours.

 

Main information about the workshops.

  • The workshops are given in small groups.
  • The workshops will only take place if there is sufficient interest and after payment for the workshop or course.
  • We do not give refunds if you are unable to participate in a workshop or course.
  • Unless otherwise stated, the course prices include the basic materials for printing the lesson assignments. You can purchase additional materials for a fee or bring your own. The use of own materials is not reimbursed. Coffee and tea are offered free of charge during the workshops.
  • On presentation of an Ooievaarspas 50% discount up to a maximum discount of € 330,- including VAT per participant per year. If you have an Ooievaarspas, you cannot register online for a workshop. Send an email to info@graphicwerkplaats.nl.
  • KABK students receive a 50% discount on participation costs.
