Do you want to come work at the Grafische Werkplaats?

Before you come to work at the Grafische Werkplaats for the first time you make an appointment for an indroduction meeting. During this conversation we will determine how indepently you can work.

There will always be a Technical Advisor on site on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9.00 tot 17.00 hrs. These are experienced artists with a lot of knowledge of one or more of the available printing techniques.

It is possible to come and work on the other days of the week, but you have to be experienced enough in the technique you are going to work in and are familiar with the Werkplaats.

In short there are 3 options:

Tarifs per March 1, 2025

The Grafische Werkplaats is (for the moment) largely financed by grants. These grants are secured for the coming two years, but in the near future the Werkplaats will have to charge it’s users a larger portion of the costs. The tarifs of the Grafische Werkplaats have stayed the same since 2020 even though everything else has become more expensive due to inflation. We are slowly upgrading our tarifs from 1 March 2025 onwards.

Possible discounts

Named prizes are included VAT, unless mentioned otherwise
Holders of the Ooievaarpas can have a 50% discount of the Day costs, with a maximum discount of €165,- incl. VAT in total per user per year.
KABK-students can make use of a discount agreement with the Academy, who will re-pay 50% of the costs to them afterwards.
Artists and other professional makers may be able to make use of the (grants) supports of the Gemeente (city of Den Haag council) or of, for instance an art institute like Stroom.
