Great News. Grafische Werkplaats prints on!

November 28th we’ve received a letter from Gemeente Den Haag with the confirmation that it will grant Grafische Werkplaats subsidy for the years 2025 and 2026.

We are of course very happy that we can continue our current activities, and these 2 years will also allow us to work on future scenarios to create a more solid foundation for our maker space.

The (translated) next passage from the letter shows that this is the intention of our Gemeente as well:

“In 2025 we shall explore together what function Stichting de Grafische Werkplaats holds in the cultural infrastructure of The Hague and in what degree the system of a more-yearly subsidy art & culture  fits the nature of the activities of Stichting de Grafische Werkplaats. The conclusions of this exploration shall become the basis for financing your activities from 2027.”

This positive outcome had not been possible without the support of many. We are of course very grateful for that.

Werkplaats Poster 2025 Also in the future, we will be needing your support. If you would like to support us right now, you can do that by ordering our new Werkplaats Poster in our maker space or via our webshop. Grafische Werkplaats assigns an artist yearly to make a poster. This years poster is designed by Ivo Brouwer and is available in both a full-colour as a black-and-white version as a limited edition of 50 prints each.
